Lamar Air Conditioning recently implemented a new split damper system for our relatively new home near Weatherford. Our home has an exercise room that is separated from the remainder of the home by our garage. The builder's A/C subcontractor (a local firm with an unfortunately chosen name) had originally installed a simple damper system to provide HVAC to the room from one of the main house zones. However, the system never worked as conceived (assuming that it ever worked in the first place). For two years, I attempted to get the original firm to correct the design and they were largely non-responsive.
Frustrated, I called Lamar for help. They came out the morning of my call and suggested a solution at a very fair price. Two days later, they installed a smart, split damper system that provides plenty of cool air to our exercise room. They also corrected some other problems with the original system. Their foreman, Cody, is a great young man with a wealth of knowledge regarding proper HVAC design and installation. He and his crew did a great job. I would highly recommend Lamar for HVAC service in the Weatherford area, especially if you have a Carrier system.
