This place is a disgrace. I use to take my dog there when she was younger. We came in one day bc she was vomiting & wouldn't eat or drink. She was tired, cranky & extremely sick. They knew this & still had us wait over 3hrs in the lobby! They let a walk-in w/ a "flea emergency" go b4 us!! My dog became more & more stressed out. By the time we finally got into a room she was pooping all over herself..
Always great with all of my animals from pet to farm animals
The dr finally came in (after we waited another half hr in the room) & demanded to take her to the back instead of examining her in the room. He literally DRAGGED her out of the room. He said it took 4 ppl to hold her down & give her a shot while she tried to bite @ them.
Afterwards all the vet said was "Well maybe I should've walked her around the room to make her feel more comfortable w/ me"... seriously? That's all you can manage to "make her feel more comfortable"? What a joke! These ppl are a joke! Not only that but they misdiagnosed her AND overcharged us by $200!!
They blamed me for not "socializing" my dog.. She went everywhere w/ me the 1st year of her life. She met tons of new ppl, dogs & was introduced to every situation possible. She is naturally weary of strangers & it takes time to get to know her, but she's still friendly. She was VERY SICK & clearly over stressed, but somehow taking time w/ her (after making us wait over 3hrs!!) didn't even enter their minds. They wanted to blame us instead of taking responsibility for their own unprofessional behavior.
Awesome customer service. Reasonable prices one of the only veterinarian that will deal with all animals as a vet should. Most of the vet I talk to only deal with horses, cats and dogs. These guys seem to do it all. When they say large animal they mean it.
Look @ it this way- if you were in a strange new place (sick & scared) where you couldn't understand what anyone was saying to you & someone walked into your room & (w/o saying anything to you) started to literally DRAG YOU AWAY from your loved one- would you be frightened? Would you fight? Bc I sure as heck would. I'd give 'em all sorts of hell...
I have taken my horses and dog to Millsap and trust them completely! I had one dog that a vet in Springtown said he had heart worms and wanted over $2000.00 for treatment. I took Teddy to Millsap and tests came back negative. They are the best!
I've been to my fair share of veterinary clinics and these guys are THE best!!! Low prices and a friendly staff. Very knowledgable and super loving towards my fur baby.
If you want quality care by someone who truly CARES, then go somewhere else. Anywhere else! A bum on the st could offer your animal more compassion than these crooks.
